We are looking for a Band 5 Nurse at Colchester Hospital within our Mersea ward, an elective 32 bedded surgical ward. Your role will include caring for patients having Urology and Colorectal surgery. This post offers a very good learning placement with lots of opportunities to develop your role.

Please be advised that as part of the recruitment process you will be required to undertake a drug calculation test - please find attached a drug calculation handbook to assist you.

This post attracts an additional payment of £1,000, for new employees to the Trust, to be paid in 2 instalments:
£500 to be paid on completion of probation
£500 on completion of the first 12 months employment with the Trust.

*Please note that the £1,000 incentive payments will be subject to Tax, National Insurance and any other relevant deductions
