An opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to join our team at Colchester to assist us in providing a high quality and comprehensive Clinical Pharmacy Service to Haematology and Oncology patients at Colchester Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust (CHUFT).

Clinical activity will be centred around the Mary Barron Suite/Haematology Day Unit and West Bergholt ward at Colchester General Hospital site but may also include some work within other clinical areas. The post holder will be expected to work predominantly at ward and day unit level and will be an integral part of the multidisciplinary team. They will assist in the maintenance of other pharmacy services as required and participate in Saturday, Sunday, Bank Holiday and On-Call working in accordance with agreed rotas.

To be the successful candidate for this important post, you will need to be working towards, or have already achieved, the Postgraduate Diploma in General Pharmacy Practice. You will require excellent IT, communication and organisational skills and have the ability to work flexible as the service requires.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
