We are an acute Foundation Trust covering North East Essex with approximately 3,800 deliveries per year.

We are seeking to recruit experienced midwives, at Band 6

We are seeking qualified midwives with proven midwifery experience, who are interested in working within the hospital or community setting.

In hospital, midwives have to opportunity to rotate throughout the different clinical areas, which include the co-located Birthing Unit, Triage as well as the wards and Delivery suite. Delivery suite undertakes water births for VBAC’s.

We have four community midwifery teams including the MLU at our coastal unit in Clacton. We are currently introducing a 'buddy' case loading system in order to start to implement the 'Better Births' recommendations for continuity of carer.
