Colchester Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust provides acute hospital services to the people of Essex. The Trust employs over 4,000 staff with most services provided from two sites in Colchester – Colchester General Hospital and Essex County Hospital. The Trust has an income budget in excess of £250 million.

An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, enthusiastic and well-motivated individual to join the busy finance team. You will report to a Divisional Finance Manager and be responsible for providing accounting information and financial advice to a number of service areas within the Trust.

You will ideally have a proven track record and experience in Financial Management and NHS financial regimes. You will be able to demonstrate strong IT and accountancy skills and be able to work flexibly under pressure to achieve the objectives of the post.
Strong communication, management and interpersonal skills are essential as you will be working closely with various stakeholders, both internally and externally to the Trust.
