Applicants are invited to apply for the post of Core Trust Doctor in Care of the Elderly. These post will commence from the 2 August 2017 for one year in the first instance.
The post holder’s main duties will be supervision of and assisting with inpatients and organising appropriate investigations in accordance with consultant’s instructions
Although this is not a recognised training post, the Trust endeavours to provide training opportunities similar to that of the core medical trainees in the department.
The Core Trust Doctor will have a principle responsibility of supporting the COTE/Stroke team. This role is a whole-time working a basic 40 hour week, Monday to Friday. Applicants should have at least 12 months postgraduate experience in hospital posts.
Responsibilities will also include the supervision of junior staff and involvement in a regular teaching programme as well as participating in weekly meetings and monthly audit meetings.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
