Applications are invited for the post of Locum Consultant in Anaesthetics with a special interest in Critical Care. This post has been created to cover sick leave, however service expansion offers the possibility of a permanent appointment.

The appointed post-holder will join a team of 9 other Consultant Anaesthetists with dedicated sessions on the Critical Care Unit, within a department of 32 Consultant Anaesthetists.

Qualifications required are FRCA or equivalent, full GMC registration and inclusion on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council in Anaesthesia or within 6 months of CCT at the interview date.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
